Utopia Must Dos
Tomorrow I am leaving on the Utopia of the Seas on my third voyage for this ship. I have gone on a romantic vacation, with the whole family, and now with a couple of our friends. This is the start of the cruise per month that ends in November. I am excited for this cruise so I am trying to get my must dos all together so I know what is most important to hit for me, and for your vacations.
Central Park Sandwiches for breakfast—This has been a tradition of ours on all Royal ships that include Central Park. Their breakfast sandwiches are somewhat fresh, and they are very tasty. They also have a nice yogurt parfait that I enjoy along with my breakfast sandwich. This is a tradition we will continue through this cruise as well. The peace of Central Park in the morning compared to the buffet upstairs cannot be understated either.
Aqua80Too—This is a must see show onboard the Utopia of the Seas. All of the diving shows are incredible but this one is my favorite with the type of music, the fun moments, and the fun outfits. I usually don’t even make a reservation for this show as I can walk to the front row and there is always an empty seat. This is the best seat in the house and you MIGHT get a little wet but on the second row the water doesn’t typically get too bad.
Youtopia—The ice show is typically a must-do and a tremendous complement to the flagship aqua show.
Laser Tag—This is a free activity that is very fun for the entire family. Laser tag is usually a few dollars to play at home arcades, but this one is included in your cruise fare.
Solarium Buffet on Departure day—Lobster. They are cold lobster but it is included in the cruise fare which I love. Hot and steaming crab and lobster used to be available on cruise ships in unnecessary quantities but this is a good small replacement. I love the Solarium, it is a lot more peaceful. Any chance I get to avoid the Windjammer is a good thing.
Hot dog while watching football—On the Boardwalk they play football games on the big screen during football season and I will be taking full advantage. I get to get a hot dog from the stand and watch football sounds like a perfect night on board the Utopia.
Sorrentos—I have to have one slice of pizza on a cruise ship. Late night pizzas after a show is ELITE. I swapped my pizza with chicken tenders on my Disney cruise last time so I will be excited to get back to it.
A soft serve on Coco Key—This just tastes a little bit better than the cruise ice cream and I can’t wait to fill up on ice cream and the buffet.
See you all when I get back!
