Chapter 7/27-8/2
Well, I thought I was filling this out throughout the week, but it is now next week, and I am seeing a blank word document. During the week I was tired, and it showed. I was able to put in a decent amount of work, but I am very close to running out of content on Tiktok. I was only doing the writing portion and travel agent duties for most of the week. I enjoyed running through task after task trying my best to finish it all.
In the coming weeks it is the fourth quarter for my group’s cruise of 14 rooms. I have to schedule all the payments. Realize who is going on the cruise and who is not. Help them book different packages like the private beach and the drink package. I have all of these items to run through. Find better deals and apply them for my cruise party. Send confirmations, and many other things as I try and keep 14 rooms together. Some are easier than others.
School is coming very soon. I don’t have the habits in place to keep up with this strong. The summer off of school was supposed to be the time where I got plenty of work done but this summer was probably the weakest few months since I got really consistent in February.
I am six months in and haven’t gotten too many successes. I also haven’t taken many risks. I haven’t used the income to increase my business with marketing. To increase client satisfaction with other gifts instead of just onboard credit. I have not been consistent with Facebook. I have just changed domains and added more and more to the list of to-dos. I hope I can fight through this list of to-dos before school starts.
In the news of trying to improve business content. I have gotten a new microphone that I can speak better to narrate my videos. My phone’s microphone was not great to use. It was poor quality, and it came across that way. This was one of the easiest purchases I made in how much of a jump in quality it could do for my content. I am still running through other purchases that can be made but this was the most pressing.
I had to stop this thought for a minute because I thought I had made a mistake and sent the wrong invoice to the client. No problem, I did it correctly.
Running through the week, I was able to make some decent progress. Made some mistakes, made some content that I thought would do extremely well, but did not.
243 minutes was the bar set last week. Can we beat it?
Mon 72 minutes
Tuesday 50 minutes
Wednesday 85 minutes
Thursday 20 minutes
Friday 89 minutes
For a grand total of 316 minutes. I am back to working on these projects for five hours a week. A tally that has been hard to hit. I have only done this a few times over the summer. Looking back over the weeks that I have done, I haven’t seen a week where I didn’t do anything. The consistency hasn’t been an incredibly high amount of production but even if it has been done little, I have not missed a week in six months. Just checking through my tiktoks I haven’t missed many posts since 3/3 where I really started the consistent posting. Almost every single day.
I think some improvements that can be made are posting at more popular times of the day, and maybe post multiple times a day? I need to look up what the most efficient way to post is. Obviously adding a narration will help some too. I am also trying to start putting more on Facebook and maybe even on Youtube/Youtube shorts. A nice convo with my marketing manager, ChatGPT, should help me out in this area.
See you all next week.
