This Week in Business 10/12-10/18
After a hard month of trying to maintain consistency, I feel like I have finally gotten back to where I need to be. My motivation seems higher to actually make all of the goals in my life happen. I have knocked down most of my to-do list and I feel strongly about the way I am living my life. Got back to having a date night, exercising regularly, working on my projects regularly, and tomorrow I am going to get back to golfing. This is also crazy, but I am writing fiction again along with all of my blogs. I am just feeling really good right now, getting back to my routine and thriving.
One task I still haven’t been able to fight my way through is Tiktok. I have not just opened it up and got to work, I have also not been posting consistently on Facebook, and I haven’t started my YouTube. Still. Even though I have a fun microphone now, that could make my content more engaging. I feel like I am spinning my wheels a little bit again. I guess it will always be like that until I make the decision just to make one Tiktok. I always push it onto the next day.
My time worked so far as bounced back slightly. I plan on a strong Friday and Saturday to anchor my week to hit the five hours of work I want to put into this.
43 minutes
66 minutes
42 minutes
34 minutes
Already over three hours worked and with an hour on Friday and Saturday I will finally get back over my goal. It is currently Friday, and I am at 52 minutes and am showing no signs of stopping. I have the motivation, I slept well, I showed great progress in mile time, I feel good.
Friday was another decent day with 98 minutes worked. I lost the motivation on Saturday but overall it was a good week.
Three hours worked and I have filled out more than two weeks of buffer blogs, but I have still not made my months’ worth of TikTok. And the issue is exclusively motivation related because I have a ton of footage to go through. I have gone on three vacations over the last month, so I have thoughts to say.
How many tiktoks did I make knowing that it was the most pressing matter in the business? I made three. I still haven’t gotten into the groove of making tiktoks. Most of them feel like a pain to make but overall, this was a huge step in the right direction.
My total was 283 minutes, and I was 17 minutes away from working for five hours on the week. I just didn’t want to do anything on Saturday other than house chores. I have been taking out my personal to-do list as well. Feeling a strong sense of progress heading into next week.
