First Few Looks at Halloween Horror Nights Orlando

First Look at HHN

Cybergoria Hype 9 Actual 2

The never-ending house to be honest. The reason why it feels so long is how scary it is. This house is intense… The rest of the houses fall short in the fear category compared to this house. It isn’t fun, it is creepy and unsettling. With a typical Fast and Furious house, there is a halfway point where you go outside for a few seconds before you go back in. Typically, it is just an odd breathing area, but once again, there isn’t a break in this house. It is action at all times. I also love the story, it is an interesting concept but wow did they do great on providing top scares. Went on this one a week ago, and this was probably the number one house of the night. This house destroyed my friends repeatedly!

HellRaiser Hype 6 Actual 4

This has the opportunity to shoot up my rankings even higher. This was a very fun house with plenty of scare, and plenty of effects. This house was LONG, like never ending, I thought it would be done several times, but the scares kept coming. I had no clue what this IP was before I walked through the house. I knew who Pinhead was but other than that, I had no idea. This house was basically an original concept for me. It exceeded expectations and was just a very fun house. After my second walkthrough, it has tumbled down to mediocrity. It is still fun, but I just like other houses better. I love that it is almost a guaranteed walk on during stay and scream too. It is has been inconsistent for me, the last walk through, I would say it is one of the best again.

HR BloodenGutz Hype 5 Actual 6

This is the rated E for Everyone house for this year. It is very low on the intensity level and is mostly just funny. Some scares, but I loved the detailed sets and the humor involved. Also, it has an interactive element. Hit the red button in the first room! The Pumpkin King also makes an appearance! Not a scary house, but a very funny house. If it leaned slightly more into the scares, I think this could be higher. I went through this one a few nights ago, and was incredibly disappointed.

Ozzy Hype 4 Actual 3

I have seen a few projects of Ozzy like his reality TV show, a couple songs, especially Crazy Train, but other than that, I don’t know much of his music. This house is enjoyable, it is very fun with the different music blasting in different scenes. My favorite part of the house is the Crazy Train section, I love the music, and you actually enter a train and walk through it. Maybe this could have been better with more scare actors involved in it but it was a cool scene. One of my favorite parts of any houses this year.

Stranger Things Hype 3 Actual 5

Second to last out of all the houses I did… I think I got a lousy run on this but I just couldn’t help but be disappointed. The best scene in the entire series is when Will controls the Demogorgon, but this scene in the house just isn’t that great. After my second run, this house shot up my rankings. I had so much fun going through the world of Stranger Things. One of my favorite shows turned into a house. It isn’t as grand as the Season 2/3 house but it is still a fun time.

Jack and OddFellow Hype 2 Actual 1

My favorite house after multiple walk throughs. This house is just great all around, there are elaborate sets, great characters, creative scares, and a fun story you get to follow throughout. Original characters that are strong enough to turn into as close to an IP house as this is special. The portal into the other dimension, the tilted room, there are just so many different settings that you walk through that it feels like a large house. It is also a fun house with all of the clowns. This house is great.

Sinners Hype 1 Actual 7

Oh Sinners…. One of my favorite movies from last year got turned into a haunted house. A combination that doesn’t happen often, one of my favorite IP’s gets turned into a house… The scares are nonexistent in the house, you can see all of them that are about to happen. One scare is fun when the main vampire flies over to you for the jumpscare. This house is just quite forgettable.
