Building a Business: Chapter 5/4-5/10

After one of the best weeks of production it seems right to fall back down to Earth. Moving into a new house, doing a new sheet for corporate at my job, doing house projects, my family being in town, and a cruise on Friday made me too tired to do as much as I could or should. Seems to be a theme. It is so tiring to complete all responsibilities and do all of the extra stuff that life sends my way. Also, trying to start a business is hard as well but I have been pushing through.

I looked up my projected revenue for the year and in 11 months I am projected to make about $4,200. I still have six months to continue to work and add more but right now it is a decent start. Maybe next year I could bring in $20,000 of revenue and the year after maybe even $35,000. I am starting to see potential instead of being down that the number isn’t high enough. I would be ecstatic if I got a $4,200 raise at work so I should be pleased with that number for this year. It is a good starting point. Showing the potential that maybe I can improve. More people know my work, and I have been able to do more and help more people. I have also put a good deal of pride in making it better for people, trying my best to help as much as possible. Making sure the best price is available and taken.

Some things I would like to add are finding common questions on social media about cruising or vacations. Making a video informing these answers. I also want to show my face more and use my voice more in social media marketing. Adding back the budget meals to make your theme park days as cheap as possible. Maybe a scavenger hunt of where is this certain place at Epic or Disney World just to keep it interesting and engaging. Also, to add mock vacations, price it all out and make it as easy as possible for people to research vacations and hopefully, book. Also start just posting pictures on Facebook travel agent page.

The content side is where I need to focus a majority of my energy. Last week I stayed consistent but unfortunately, I have run out of reserves to post. Here are the small totals for the week:

Tuesday: 37 minutes

Thursday: 28 minutes

Barely over an hour worked is one of the worst weeks in this venture. I did stay consistent with posting, but it just was not enough. No way to grow from that type of investment.
