Building a Business 3/2/25-3/8/25

ree

Some days you feel like crap. Like the work you do is a chore. You don’t want to do anything. The only way to put in any work is using all of your willpower to push through.

And then there are days like Tuesday, 3/4/25. Where you get eight and a half hours of quality sleep and your focus is extremely good, you feel unstoppable.

Posting consistently has been the thorn in my side. I put in consistent time, but constant posting has been the biggest issue. I am not in the game. This won’t be my story forever. Motivated to finally hit my daily time spent on this venture I got well ahead of my posting schedule.

14 posts are all ready to go in one day. I didn’t make anything perfect. I know I am not perfect and at the beginning the most important thing to do is post and get feedback. So, that’s what I did. My ego was completely out of my work, and I pushed out 14 in a little over an hour. It gave me a lot of confidence to get those under my belt. To be present and get that far ahead of what I wanted to do. I now have a buffer. I can take days off.

It is now Thursday, still three days left in the week, and I have done possibly the most I’ve done in a long time. I have hit a better rhythm, getting into more of a routine, in life and business wise. I have made 16 TikToks and have pushed into next week’s blog territory. It has felt really good to push through the mental block to get the things done that I needed to do. Pushing into finalizing a routine and I hope I can continue this momentum into next week and further than that. To have growth and success I need to push myself further than I ever have before in this area.

I am currently at over five hours worked for the week. Can I reach my goal of 10 hours this week? For the first time since July. I have discovered that I have actually only hit my goal four times. Out of the 40 weeks I have been working on this venture. Most weeks have been around 5-7 hours. I hope I can finally see what all I can do in 10 hours and make it more of a regular occurrence. Hitting a goal only 10% of the time is not a great place to be.

Wrapping up the week and I am proud of myself. The highest total since July. I pushed myself into working every day, working on different stuff that actually moves the needle. No burnouts, actually getting on the road and driving.

My total time was a little over eight and a half hours worked. I feel good about that. I hope it’s more of the same next week, maybe even more.
