This Week in Business 2/16-2/22
In case, this is your first blog post, this weekly series is usually where I go over my goals for the week and if I progressed in that way. Mostly this series is for me to look at how I did and what I can do to improve. If you want to follow along and hopefully it turns into a success story please enjoy a quick journal entry in my business.
It hasn’t been good. I posted once last week shook off some cobwebs but added them right back. I just feel stuck. Unknowing of the next step to take. I have even had a few days of not putting any type of effort into this venture.
I have stated I wanted to get better at marketing. The only way to get better at anything is to practice and unfortunately, I freeze. Not making progress in hardly anything. Will this be the story of my digital money earning potential? Decent ideas but no execution? My phone doom scrolling has also increased. I’m tired. When I get home, I just want to sit in front of the TV. Unwilling to make a difference. It is just not a mandatory thing for me. Nothing will happen if I don’t do anything. And my life is good. Hardly any pain, hardly any anxiety. It’s been smooth. I turned 27 later this year. I have wanted to take advantage of an online business for a long time. Almost 10 years.
Various steps forward but a couple steps back as well.
I need to post daily, get in the game. I was a benchwarmer for most of my career in middle/high school and I am continuing that theme.
Comment positivity. Garyvee states that this is a powerful thing. Bring value.
I just can’t get out of my own way. More intrigued to do other things and doom scroll over doing actual work at the job. Or actual homework. Or actual potential business work. None of it. My production is down, and I need to change it up.
Starting now. Two posts, one today, one tomorrow, here we go. Within 10 minutes I was able to do this. Such a small thorn in my side. I put in 37 minutes after shaking off the cobwebs. Which is not much at all, but better than I was.
So, the week is wrapped up, I didn’t do anything over the weekend, and I can’t believe how quickly the weekend went. Back to the desk in the blink of an eye.
I ran some numbers as usual. I did 64 minutes of work on this. A little over an hour worked an entire week. The amount of screentime I did outside of my computer at work. 47 hours.
